Summertime and the livin’ is easy at this spectacular rooftop bar: The Julep at the Kimpton Sylvan Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. This jewel in the center of the upscale Buckhead neighborhood serves as a swanky place to congregate and enjoy a refreshing beverage on a balmy night!

Built in 1951, this structure started out as an apartment building, then later was converted to condos. The SSOE | Stevens & Wilkinson design team transformed the condominium units into a 216-key hotel that now features a restaurant and bar, courtyard dining, a private pool, and a rooftop lounge.

The Kimpton Sylvan Hotel is an award-winning project for adaptive reuse and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Learn more on the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation.
