In the heart of Oklahoma City, the premier metalworking event of the year took place – and Feeney® was front and center! Celebrating their 65th anniversary, NOMMA put together an event that was enthusiastic and well attended. From the panel discussions and industry leading exhibitors to the networking and bull riding, it was the place to be for ornamental and metal fabricators. Here are some of our highlights from the show.
NOMMA Annual Meeting Kick Off
Open to all attendees, NOMMA kicked off the show with updates on the industry and the state of the association. Our very own Director of Retail & Product Marketing, Kym Nosbisch, was inducted onto the 2023 NOMMA Board of Directors as one of the Industry Partner Directors for a 2-year term. President Tony Martinez acknowledged how crucial METALfab sponsors, exhibitors, and advertisers are to NOMMA’s success. Feeney is proud to be such an involved member to show how invested we are with helping fabricators succeed!
Providing Support Through Education
There was no shortage of information available at this show. Two of Feeney’s leading experts were on-site and ready to give new and seasoned professionals the tools metal workers need to help grow their business, whether it be through technical application or fine-tuning design and fabrication processes. Brad Adsit, Director of Product Development, focused on technology in design, and also lent a hand to answer railing code questions. Alejandra Zeledon, National Training Director, walked attendees through the technical aspects of cable railing infill.
“I was very pleased with participant engagement and hope the session increased knowledge and understanding in using cable rail as an infill for guards” said Alejandra Zeledon, our National Training Director.
Your Tension Please!
In 2022, Feeney introduced a new booth design, and for METALfab we gave it an upgrade. Four new custom fabricated railing sections were added to the display showcasing the unique ways in which CableRail can be incorporated in a customer’s creations.
Just as our tagline states, Feeney Makes It Easy™, we hope to provide our attendees with limitless options for every project. We also had a giveaway for a spa and golf outing for METALfab attendees as an thank you for stopping by our booth, and our lucky winner this year was Peter Zadrozinski of Classic Metal Craft. A round of applause for Peter.
METALfab’s lineup of events created numerous networking and educational opportunities and gave us a way to reconnect with an industry filled with genuine, creative individuals. We are looking forward to the next event and to connecting with those we talked to at the show to see all the exciting new projects for this year!
