Convenient kits make it easy to install low maintenance aluminum rails
OAKLAND, Calif. (February 4, 2014) – Feeney, Inc. announced today from booth C1714 at the International Builders’ Show (IBS) the availability of DesignRail® Aluminum Rail Kits for easy installation between wood posts. DesignRail® is a customized, component based aluminum railing system that is ideal for deck railings, fences, privacy panels, and barriers.

The pre-packaged kits can be used for 36 and 42 inch high residential railings with up to 6 feet of spacing between posts. The Intermediate pickets included in the kit are pre-drilled to support CableRail by Feeney stainless steel infill cables. DesignRail® Aluminum Rail Kits for wood posts feature a powder coated finish that meets rigorous AAMA-2604 coating specifications for superior color retention, impact resistance, and weather protection. Each kit includes all components and connecting brackets necessary for quick and easy installation. Kits are available for both level and stair railings. Stair rail kits can accommodate up to 6-feet maximum length stairways with a slope of between 29 and 34 degrees. The kits are available now in bronze matte, black and white colors. Matching aluminum caps are available as a decorative accessory item to finish the tops of 4×4 wood posts.
DesignRail® rails and pickets are made from high-strength aluminum-alloy that contains a minimum of 70% reclaimed content and is fully recyclable. The lightweight nature of aluminum also makes the kits easy to transport and handle on the jobsite. The product is backed by a 10- year warranty.
